MiiMate is a tech recruiting platform based in New York, powered by Otto AI. We help pre-seed to Series D startups hire software engineers, AI/ML and data engineers, and technical leaders up to VP Engineering and CTO.

Our fee is agreed up front in a short, plain-English agreement you accept online: a percentage of the new hire's first-year base salary or a flat fee per hire. On a contingency search you pay only when you hire someone we introduced. On a retained search, a fee is due to start the search, and the remaining terms are agreed up front.

Every search is different. We'll give you an honest read on the market for your role at the start, and Otto starts searching as soon as we've agreed the details. Because each candidate approves their introduction first, the people you see want to talk.

Each introduction comes as a private link. Read the profile and resume, plus interview scorecards and references when we have them, then tell us you're interested, request an interview, pass with a quick reason or ask a question. We book interviews from the times you offer.

Yes. Before we introduce anyone, they see exactly how we'll present them for your role and approve it. They can ask for changes or decline, and nobody reaches you without that yes.

Every placement comes with a written replacement guarantee. The terms are set out in your agreement before the search starts.

No. We never recruit a client's own people while they have an open role with us, and we check where a candidate works before we contact them and again before an interview.

Yes. Working with us is free for candidates. The companies we recruit for pay our fee.

No. Nothing goes to a company until you've seen exactly how we'll present you and approved it. You can ask for changes or say no, and we only put you forward for roles you want.

You get your own private status page showing where each of your applications is, and we keep you updated at every step. We'll tell you honestly when a role isn't right.

Otto AI is the recruiting platform MiiMate built from the ground up, and a recruiter works alongside it at every step. Otto finds candidates and the companies hiring them, and a recruiter talks with every candidate. Otto matches people to roles, and a recruiter reviews every match. Otto helps build each candidate's story, and the candidate approves it before any company sees it. Clients decide from one clear page, and we follow every hire after the start date. People make every decision.

No. Otto AI suggests and drafts; people make every decision about who is introduced, contacted or hired.

Otto AI scores candidates only against a role's written skills and experience requirements, and shows the evidence for each score. Schools, employer names, gaps in employment and anything that suggests gender or ethnicity are left out.

No. MiiMate doesn't use personal information to train AI models, the business terms we use with our AI model providers don't allow them to train on it, and we remove names and contact details from what our AI tools see wherever we can.
