Sales and go-to-market leadership search
Sales and go-to-market leadership search for startups
MiiMate searches for the leaders who take a startup's product to market: first sales leaders, VPs and Heads of Sales, and the Revenue Operations people who keep the numbers honest.
A first sales leader decides whether early wins become a repeatable business. We run these searches personally, with a thorough brief at the start, a focused shortlist and references before the final round, so you can make the decision with confidence.

Questions founders ask us
When should a startup hire its first sales leader?
Usually once the founders have closed the first customers themselves and know who buys and why, and need someone to make that repeatable. We'll give you an honest view for your situation.
We're building outside the US. Can you help us hire our first US sales leader?
Yes. We look for people who have built a US presence before, and we stay close to every candidate through your process, so nothing is lost between what was said and what was meant.
How is a leadership search different?
It's more personal: a deeper brief, a smaller shortlist, closer contact with candidates after every interview and thorough references before the final round.
How much does it cost?
Our fee is agreed up front in a short, plain-English agreement: a percentage of the new hire's first-year base salary or a flat fee per hire. On a contingency search you pay only when you hire someone we introduced. On a retained search, a fee is due to start the search, and the remaining terms are agreed up front. Get in touch and we'll talk through the search and the terms.
Does AI decide who we see?
No. Otto AI does the heavy searching and matching, and a recruiter on our team reviews every candidate and makes every decision about who we introduce to you.
