About
Recruiting with people in control.
MiiMate is a tech recruiting platform based in New York. We help startups hire engineers, AI/ML and data people and technical leaders, and we never introduce anyone who hasn't said yes.
We started in 2020 as NovumTech Partners. Same team, now with Otto AI, the recruiting platform we built to run the whole search alongside our recruiters, from finding the right people to following every hire after they start.
“AI is the biggest disruptor recruiting has ever seen, and it has brought a lot of noise with it. The old ways don't work anymore, and add-on tools are hard to adopt. So we built MiiMate, powered by Otto AI, from the ground up. Candidates control their real story, with transparency at every step, and clients get a clear, honest picture of every person they review. MiiMate quiets the noise.”
What we believe
- People make the decisionsA recruiter reviews every candidate before a client sees them.
- Candidates say yes firstNobody's profile reaches a company without their approval.
- Honesty is the jobWe tell clients and candidates when something isn't a fit.
- Fair by designOtto looks at skills and experience only. Schools, employer names, gaps in employment and anything that suggests gender or ethnicity are left out.
- Nothing sends on its ownEvery message Otto drafts is approved by someone on our team.
- Clear termsFees agreed up front, paid only on a hire, with a written guarantee.
